Spring Special is back for 2027!
Hey, are you in Southern California? You should totally come to Kyushu Night this weekend. Please. ❤️
Spring Special returns for 2027!
The first bit of big news this week: Spring Special, our shorter cherry blossom-themed adventure centered on Kyoto, Osaka, Ise and the Lake Hamana area, is BACK for 2027!
The water cooler pitch for this one: we show you cool spots in Osaka and Kyoto before relaxing in hot spring resorts for four days and see some of Japan’s early-blooming cherry blossoms. The whole thing happens before the end of March/early April season, when the hotel prices in Tokyo and Kyoto start to resemble the prices of NBA Finals tickets at Madison Square Garden.
Did anything change for 2027?
A few things did, mainly based off of the feedback we got from the surveys we did a few months ago (remember those?). They are pretty straightforward:
We’re now including the first night hotel in Tokyo before the trip starts, since that was a sticking point for a lot of people (fair).
The schedule of the last two full days has been moved around a bit; the schedule now includes another cherry blossom viewing by Lake Sanaru, and the hotel location has been moved from the north shore of the lake to the eastern shore.
Everyone liked everything else, so we kept all those things (of course).
The total for this one: $3,795. You can sign up using the button below; join us!
