ABOUT THE TRIP: It’s a mystery (ooo~). We’re serious; it’s a mystery trip where you won’t know where you’re going until you get there. We interview everyone on the trip, see what kind of stuff they’d be interested in, and then we wiggle our fingers and create a really awesome trip! Unlike the longer Omakase trip (which is sold out for 2026), this is a shorter one for people with less PTO or people who want to check out some other spots in Japan before or after their mysterious journey to… wherever we go.

ABOUT THE TRIP: We travel to half of Japan across two weeks of fun and we visit a ton of really cute animals. Oh yeah, it’s a good time. We begin in Hiroshima and hit Osaka, Kyoto, the bunny island, Matsumoto, Sendai, Ishinomaki, and a ton of other amazing spots along the way. It’s a unique way to see a plethora of spots in Japan and have a blast doing it.

KYUSHU NIGHT: THANK YOU!
Our first ever Kyushu Night happened last Saturday, and it was an AMAZING time! Thank you so, so much to all the people who came out, sipped Shochu and Sake, and listened to us tell you all sorts of random fun stuff about places to visit in Kyushu.
HUGE thanks to Brian from SIPT Global for sharing the stories of the shochu, to Yuhki for helping hold down the fort (and Greg for the space), Sambo for helping manage the crowd and keep Evan sane, and of course to Yoya and Homareya for supplying the bento with the miso black cod and karaage that we happily devoured as the night went on.
While this was our first event like this, it definitely won’t be the last. Stay tuned!
About New Trip Rollouts
One last thing before we go: a quick note for the alumni who are wondering about how/when we’re rolling out stuff for 2027.
In past years, due to our schedule being kinda crazy (especially last year), we got in the habit of doing a massive “trip drop” in which we’d drop the forthcoming year’s schedule in a single summer day.
We won’t be doing that this year. We’ll be continuing to trickle out new trip offerings in the weeks and months to come. If all goes according to plan, the entire 2027 schedule will be live and online by the end of August. Yay!
2028 Trips: We will be cracking the nut of 2028 beginning in December.
