This Week @ PacSet: Summer Sun and SoCal Sales

Nothing like some vacation talk and fire sales to make you feel like summer is heating up, right? Okay, that’s the only fire pun I’ll put in this one…

LAST CHANCE FOR CONFIRMED SUMMER TRIPS!

Yes, we know the world is going through a rough spot right now. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun in the process, right? Right! 😊

Our first two trips for the summer are confirmed to depart, but if you want to jump aboard, you’ll need to act quick: the deadline for both is this weekend. Your options:

  • ✈️ Seamlessly fly, sail, and explore between islands and cities

$3,595

HOKKAIDO ADVENTURE - $3,395

  • 🌳 Tokyo is hot, humid, and rainy this time of year. Hokkaido is quite the opposite; the flowers are out, the temps are comfy, and there’s tons of stuff to see and do. Which includes stuff in the city…

  • 🍜 Sapporo’s ramen and cafes are definite highlights, but there are also outdoor beer gardens where people grill, hang out, and appreciate the gifts of living on an island that produces a TON of really good food.

  • ♨️ The end of the trip finds us at a hot spring resort, because if you’re going to go to Hokkaido to explore and relax, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice if you don’t spend at least a little time in the hot spring. Seriously.

ISLAND HOPPER - $3,595

  • 🏖️ Speaking of relaxing, OKINAWA! It’s tropical, there are beaches, and you’re going to go to one! We’re going to get some amazing taco rice, hit the aquarium, and more. Want to snorkel? We can help set that up. Scuba dive? We can help with that too. Want to go to a magical beach that appears and disappears with the tide? We can’t do that at our first stop, but…

  • 🌊 We CAN at our second! We’re going to the remote island of Yoron to see the Yurigahama Beach and chill at a resort. Then, when we fly to Kyushu, we’re going to go to… another hot spring resort. That’s three resorts, friends. Buckle up.

  • 🌋 We’re also going to an old samurai town and spending some time in the metropolis of Kagoshima, where you’ll also get some amazing views of the Sakurajima caldera across the bay.

DO BOTH! - $6,490

  • 🫣 Everything is crazy right now, so if you decide that the way to cope is to go on a super-mega-long vacation, we’ve got you covered! Sign up for either and contact us to let us know you’d like to sign up for both, and we’ll take care of the rest.

(Not quite) Everything must Go (locally)

Speaking of things being crazy…

Due to the current business climate and a sharp decline in sales, we’re buckling down and doing some belt tightening. Specifically, we’re getting rid of our storage locker in the Los Angeles Metro Area. Before the end of may, (almost) everything must be cleared out of the storage locker. So: if you live in the LA/OC/IE area (non-locals: I promise that all of those two-letter abbreviations actually mean something!), this is your chance to pick up some of the stuff we can’t keep anymore. That includes…

  • TABLES! We have a bunch of these, including a nicer solid one (pictured).

  • Office chairs. They roll.

  • This mini-fridge. Keep drinks colder than our sales numbers since the Strait of Hormuz closed!

  • Full photography set and backdrop, with lights and a green screen. We used this, like, one time. You can/should use it more than one time.

  • Microwave. Treat your leftovers to a dose of magical heat before they are consumed by… you, probably.

  • A WHOLE CHERRY BLOSSOM TREE. Well, it’s a fake tree, but we literally built it and it cost us a lot of time and money to do so. Whether you are a cosplayer looking for an awesome photoshoot prop, or you just want to be able to tell your friends that you bought a cherry blossom tree, this is super cool.

  • An unreasonable number of bean bag chairs. You can flop on these. We have so many of these, it’s a little silly.

  • PacSet memorabilia: old banners, materials, and more. This is only for those people who really love PacSet and want a piece of our efforts to convince Japan travel can be awesome and friendly. If you’ve ever wanted a room divider that’s also a huge advertisement for the old website URL, you’ll love this stuff.

All items are offered as-is and cannot be shipped. While we have some asking prices on some of the stuff, others are “or best offer”; in other words, make us an offer and we’ll see what we can do. Some of the stuff we’ll probably just give away; we’ll see.

If you live in the Los Angeles/SoCal area and would like to acquire/purchase any of these goodies, please use the contact form below. All items must be picked up in Torrance, California; we cannot ship any of this stuff. You will need to transport anything you acquire in this sale. Questions/inquiries can be submitted via the form below.
